SNOWBOARD - VIDEO - The World Snowboarding Championships 2012
The World Snowboarding Championships 2012 is set for Oslo, Norway next February and preparations for the event are already well underway. The World Snowboarding Championships will use the TTR World Rankings as qualification for entry into the event which will feature slopestyle, halfpipe and quarterpipe competitions. Props to The Arctic Challenge crew, the Norwegian Snowboard Association and the WSF who, along with the TTR, have come together to make this world class event a reality.

Finalmente Ticket To Ride e la World Snowboard Federation si sono strette la mano per un accordo storico: il “World Snowboarding Championships”. Tutti i TTR World Tour Champions degli ultimi tre anni hanno diritto a competere in qualsiasi disciplina del WSC 2012: Peetu Piiroinen (TTR World Champ 2009/10/11), Jamie Anderson (TTR World Champ 2011), Enni Rukajarvi (TTR World Champ 2010) e Kelly Clark (TTR World Champ 2009).
In aggiunta, vi potranno partecipare tutti i vincitori dei singoli eventi a 6 stelle del TTR. Il sito ufficiale è già online. Le qualificazioni ai World Snowboarding Championships che si terranno ad Oslo, Norvegia, dall’11 al 19 febbraio 2012, nell’arena del Tryvann Vinterpark resort. I World Snowboarding Championships si terranno ogni quattro anni e vedranno svolgersi contest nelle specialità dell’halfpipe e dello slopestyle, i quali incoroneranno i campioni mondiali maschile e femminile di entrambe le discipline.
